dances with desire

even nothing
is felt
completely
in my bones, in my toes,
every molecule
of my soul, heart, and being;

spirit always seems to
be longing, yearning—

i wonder what would happen
should i dance
with desire just this once,
and win?

would i be satisfied?
or would i just yearn
for something else
or to be someone
else?

i wonder will i ever be happy in
these bones?
